Going Retro

What I’m Wearing: Vintage Blue Floral Blouse, ASOS Mongolian Black Gilet, Zara Heels & Wallet, Vintage Metallic Skirt, Chanel Mini Bag & ASOS Faux Fur Cossack Hat

I will always adore vintage, in fact my whole blog was born due to my love for vintage clothing. And so today, I dressed up old school and wore two of my most recent vintage buys. And by recent, I bought this skirt & blouse back in September, I am trying desperately to stop spending and save instead. It is almost near impossible, I can resist chocolate and cake any day of the week, but when its comes to clothes, I am hopelessly addicted. And my poor bank balance, it has suffered for years now. How do you girls save money? You got any tips for me, from one shopping/fashion hound to the other? Finally, don’t forget to enter my giveaways, Wildfox Sunglasses and a beautiful Kiki Leather Clutch! Happy Sunday! More tomorrow! Photos: Anastasia Nielsen

I always loved your vintage outfits, so I really like you’re going old school again for once! When it comes to saving money, I know some bloggers/friends who did a no-buy for a month or longer, maybe you could try that?
And of course buying vintage is a great way to save money too, my favourite vintage shop has montly sales where everything goes down from -50% to 1 euro a piece! It’s awesome because you can get something for 1 euro and then do some alterations (shorten, change the shape etc.) if you’re a bit handy with a sewing machine, and you have a unique piece that costs almost nothing! I guess fashion bloggers will always have the urge to buy new stuff to show on their blogs :) xx

One of the bloggers I follow (llymlrs, to be exact) returns something if she hasn’t worn it within two weeks of buying it :)

loving your retro style! wanting for months a cool hat as yours but didn’t found any good/cheat enough!

my tip, as a desperate shopaholic girl, is to buy things on outlet pages. some are cool even are not from the same season but the are similar to the season ones so you can still wear them as fashionable and trendy clothes! try to wait and buy basics on sale season too.

eventhough i try, i almost never follow these advices… i only stop when my bank calls me…..
    happy day!

Gorgeous outfit! I have a piggy bank in the shape of a giant marmite jar where I put all my loose change, and if I’m really restrained and don’t buy something that I really want then I put the money I would have spent on the item in the piggy bank! It works pretty well, as long as you resist breaking into the piggy bank and spending all the money in it haha!

But it’s freezing in Paris!! And you’re wearing a skirt, a tshirt and open toes. I’ve been living in paris for a while and every winter you dress in these pneumonia sensitive outfits.

I love this – it reminds me of when you first started blogging, ‘Classic Frassy’ if you will.
