I’m not usually a fan of bodycon dresses, they remind me of my university days, when girls would squeeze themselves into too-tight dresses and just look so painfully uncomfortable.  I’m all for a tight pair of skinnies or a tight top, but not together and certainly not a dress that feels like its glued to your skin. And so, I put this dress on with a lot of hesitation but was super surprised at how easy it was to wear. Probably not ready to embrace the bodycon fully, but I will def. wear this dress again! More tomorrow! Photos: Anastasia Nielsen

    Oh bodycon…
    Something about skintight dresses and skirts leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination is just a little bit intimidating. Add to that the fear of looking like a sausage (too much stuffing in too little casing) and you’ve got the makings of a piece of clothing designed to drive girls absolutely insane. The amount of worrying that seems impossible to detach from the idea of wearing such a body-conscious dress is a little sad.
    To me, bodycon dresses definitely are not the most elegant or tasteful of clothing choices…typically.

    Audrey, though you may have put on your dress with hesitation, I think you pulled it off really well! Instead of looking too try-hard and overly uncomfortable, your dress is just the right amount of tightness; it shows off your body marvelously and looks so glamorous and intriguing in black and white. Your simple black heels keep things from verging into icky territory while your leather jacket makes things a little more modern and fun. A swingy ponytail, black sunglasses, and lipstick are just the things to complete the look. As usual, your personality shines through in these photos!
